A culture of kindness

At Ryman the work that our nursing and care staff perform is highly valued. These roles are essential in ensuring we continue to deliver standards of care that must be, good enough for Mum or Dad. It's our nurses and caregivers that have the biggest impact day to day with our residents. They have a strong passion for what they do, and this is reflected in the individual care that our residents receive.

No day is the same in a Ryman village, and as such our nursing and care staff enjoy a varied workload. Nurses often tell us how much they love the responsibility they are given and enjoy the trusting relationships they develop with their management teams. Furthermore, all nursing and care staff highly value the time they get to spend with residents, and often go home smiling with a story our two to tell their families.

The role families within our nursing and care department include:

  • Clinical managers
  • Unit coordinators
  • Registered nurses
  • Enrolled nurses
  • Caregivers
  • Fluid Assistant
  • Lounge Assistant
  • Diversional Therapist
  • Physiotherapist
